This summer only, novice and expert surfers will get the chance to brush up on their skills at Typhoon Texas in Pflugerville. The waterpark will add a temporary new attraction: the PFlowRider Surf Simulator. The attraction replicates a surfing experience, presenting an opportunity to try stand-up or body surfing. Non-surfers can take advantage of a mobile bar, music and corn hole boards in this area of the park. The PFlowRider Surf Simulator is one of Typhoon Texas’ latest additions. Others include a second full-service bar, six new private cabanas, a new drink refill station, valet parking and more. “We are excited to be able to bring a new attraction to the Austin market that our guests can enjoy this summer,” Typhoon Texas Austin General Manager Ty Weitzel said in an April 23 news release. “The PFlowRider surf simulator is sure to draw a crowd of people wanting to surf and also those who enjoy watching the fun.”
