Pflugerville City Council approved a contract March 26 with DCS Engineering LLC pushing forward plans for Phase 4 of an extension to Impact Way near SH 130.

In a nutshell

With this approval, the engineering company will begin the final design of the Impact Way extension, which is to go through 18 acres of land owned by the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation.

The total build-out of the entire Impact Way will run through 140 acres of land, bisecting the properties into square plots and making the area more palatable for developers, according to DCS.

The design phase will take approximately six months, with construction anticipated to begin in October. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2025.

Phase 4 will cost a total of $6.7 million from the PCDC’s budget for fiscal year 2023-24. The project will add roughly 1,500 feet of roadway and utility line intended to provide a north-south thoroughfare to service new development on the west side of SH 130, according to DCS documents.
