A new basketball training facility has opened in Hutto, bringing local growth opportunities for area athletes.

Kerley's Courtyard, locally owned by Aaron Kerley and Amy Kerley, opened in March. The facility offers training for ages 6-18, including:
  • Individual training for athletes tailored to specific skills and techniques
  • Group training by skill level, work ethic and age
  • Small tot classes to develop skills in young athletes

The facility also offers its gym space for rent, Amy Kerley said. It is home to Cy Fair Premier Austin, an Amateur Athletic Basketball league team.

Aaron Kerley's previous coaching experience includes Rim Rockers in Round Rock, and more than 20 years at the TMCA of Greater Williamson County as its youth sports director.

Kerley's Courtyard will also offer a spring break camp, March 17-21. The first session of the camp for ages 8-11 will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon, with the second session for ages 12 and up offered 1-5 p.m. at $250 per athlete for the week.
