Doug Weiss won the Pflugerville mayoral runoff election, receiving 56% of the vote after all vote centers reported, according to unofficial election results.
Weiss received 3,293 votes, defeating Pat McCord, who received 2,587, out of 5,880 ballots cast.

After the results, Weiss said he felt relieved and grateful to voters.
“I’m feeling relieved,” Weiss said. “I feel like the city of Pflugerville showed up, and we will continue to be in good hands.”
Weiss said his immediate focus as mayor will be improving communication between city leadership and residents.

Doug Weiss is leading the Pflugerville mayoral runoff election after receiving 55.42% of the early votes, according to unofficial early results, while Pat McCord has received 44.58%.
Overview
A total of 4,338 votes have been cast so far, with 0 of 7 vote centers reporting as of Saturday evening. Results will continue to update as additional ballots are counted.
The runoff followed the Nov. 4 general election, in which no candidate secured a majority of the vote. In that election, Weiss and McCord advanced to the runoff after finishing first and second with 47.38% and 34.55%, respectively.
Of the 53,766 Travis County voters eligible to vote in one of the county's two elections—for the Pflugerville mayor or the Leander council member—5,358, or 9.97% turned out to vote.
