About the program
Pflugerville created the Art in Public Places program to build city identity, attract tourists, facilitate relationships with local artists and enhance public spaces for residents, according to city documents. The program allows for public art in city facilities, parks and streets.
Several other public art displays were unveiled in the city in the last year, like the Momentum sport court mural at Stone Hill Park. Other recent installations include Anna Ganina's Symphonic Fantasia mural at Swenson Park, and Ion Art's Collective Radiance installation at the Pflugerville Justice Center.
