The city of Pflugerville will hold a City Council election in November for Place 3 and 5.

The gist

As of the Aug. 19 deadline to file for the city of Pflugerville's Nov. 5 election, three candidates turned in their applications for a spot on the ballot. Incumbent Place 3 City Council member Kimberly Holiday will run unopposed, while current Place 5 City Council member Jim McDonald will seek another term against challenger Melody Ryan.

Members may serve for a three-year term after being elected. The current council members are:

  • Doug Weiss, Council Member, Place 1
  • Ceasar Ruiz, Council Member, Place 2
  • Kimberly Holiday, Council Member, Place 3
  • Rudy Metayer, Council Member, Place 4
  • Jim McDonald, Council Member, Place 5

The city of Pflugerville is contracting with both Travis and Williamson counties for voting in this election. Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day.

  • Nov. 5: election day
