From a fishing contest to a crafts fest, here are a few of the events happening in Pflugerville this weekend.

June 4: Go fishing at Lake Pflugerville

Pfishing Day, a morning of fishing at Lake Pflugerville, will take place June 4. The city will provide fishing poles, bait and volunteers to help with setting up poles and casting. Participants can also enter a competition for longest catch with prizes sponsored by Andy's Frozen Custard and Raising Cane's. 9 a.m.-noon. Free. June 4: Do some arts and crafts at Maker Pfest

A rotating group of Central Texas makers will guide guests through a variety of hands-on crafts activities at this year's Maker Pfest. Events include sewing and mini galaxy painting. There will also be take-home projects available for those who cannot attend in person. 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Free, registration required for some events. Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 W. June 5: Visit the Heritage House Museum

The Heritage House Museum will be open for visitors June 5. The museum displays antiques, historical photographs, documents and books pertinent to Pflugerville's history.
