Two seats on Hutto City Council will have a runoff election June 7. Early voting will take place May 27-June 3.

The details

Hutto's bylaws require a majority vote to secure the win. No candidate for either Place 3 or Place 6 received more than 50% of votes, so both will go to runoff elections.

According to unofficial results, Cory Denena received 44.01% of votes for Place 3 and will face Jim Morris, who received 42.84% of votes, in the runoff election.

Amberley Kolar received 42.38% of the votes for Place 6 and will face Aaron King, who received 29.60% of the votes.
