Hutto ISD achieves 'A' financial rating from TEA for 2023-24 school year
The district earned a "superior" rating of its financial integrity for the 2023-24 school year from the Texas Education Agency, administrators shared Oct. 24.

Hutto ISD makes progress on state-mandated safety updates
District administrators shared an update on several state-mandated safety updates to campuses in October.

Chris Contreras, HISD's district emergency operations and safety coordinator, told trustees Oct. 24 that the district has just about wrapped up an effort to install impact-resistant film to windows at several campuses, with a final installation taking place Oct. 28.

Hutto ISD pursuing partnership with Teach for America
Hutto ISD will partner with professional development organization Teach for America in the 2025-26 school year to bring 10 qualified teachers to the district.
