District officials made the unanimous decision June 10, according to a news release from the district.
“I am excited to welcome Ms. Brown to Park Crest Middle School,” PfISD Superintendent of Schools Douglas Killian said in the release. “I have faith that she will continue to build upon the great things already in place and help all of our Pumas to the next level.”
Brown is an alumnus at Pflugerville High School, and information from the district states she has a bachelor's degree from McNeese State University and a master's degree from The University of Texas.
The release states she was an assistant principal at both Connally and Pflugerville high schools.
Brown replaces Zachary Kleypas as Park Crest principal, the release stated, adding last month he was named Pflugerville High principal.
