A new neighborhood in the Flora planned community in Hutto had its grand opening March 11, with homes now for sale. The 825-acre development sits 3 miles from downtown in Northeast Hutto between US 79 and Chandler Road.

Developer Tri Pointe Homes offers seven floor plans for its terrace collection at Flora. The homes range from 1,600 to 2,750 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 bathrooms, and two-car garages. They feature open layouts, spacious living areas and covered patios, according to a news release.
Buyers can choose from a range of customization options, including game rooms, media rooms, walk-in pantries and lofts. The neighborhood will also feature a community center with a pool, fitness center and splash pad, to open in August.
