Pflugerville City Council passed two supplemental agreements for the SH 45 pump station discharge line project at its meeting Feb. 25. The additional contracts bring the project total to over $1 million.

About the project

Pump stations are essential parts of sewage systems to transport wastewater from low-lying areas to treatment plants.

The 30/24-inch pump station discharge line runs along the northern frontage road of SH 45 and Heatherwilde Boulevard. The capital improvement project, which is in the design phase, will connect the SH 45 pump station to the 960-foot pressure zone, an area where water pressure is managed to ensure proper flow and service for consumers.
