A development site known as Logistics Park will be up for vote for annexation and rezoning later this year. The site is currently an extra territorial jurisdiction in Williamson County.
Current situation
The ordinance to approve the annexation and rezoning will be tabled until November or December due to the owner’s request, Director of Development Ashley Bailey told Hutto City Council. Cadence Bank currently owns the land, and signed a letter of intent to develop the site in early August. No residents live on the property, which is zoned for agriculture use.
What is it?
The possible employee activity center sits on 83 acres on either side of Limmer Loop, along SH 130 E. Frontage road. The tracts could include more than just office space, but a mixture of retail, industrial and other nonresidential development types, according to city documents.
Logistics Park is suitable to support health care services, large employers and specialized facilities, according to city documents. Plans show that 40% of the site would be designated for industrial use, 40% for offices, 10% for retail and another 10% for other uses. The complex could support 22 jobs per acre.
