Road projects, including repairs and traffic upgrades, may cause temporary road closures in Pflugerville.
The details
One project will install a new traffic light at the intersection of Pleasanton Parkway and Weiss Lane.
Construction on the project began Aug. 16 and is planned to complete in 6 months. Roadway closures and other pertinent updates will be communicated to residents throughout the project, according to city officials.
What else?
Multiple street repair projects are underway to replace pavement, perform regular maintenance and fix asphalt and curbs.
Pflugerville Loop closed Aug. 20 for repairs, from Central Commerce Drive to Pflugerville Fire Station No. 5 on West Pflugerville Loop. It is anticipated to reopen at the end of September. The westbound travel lane of Picadilly Drive will also experience closures, from Grand Avenue to Copperhead Drive. The road is expected to reopen by the beginning of October.
The city advises residents to use alternate routes while the repairs take place. Updates will be posted on city communication channels.
