Frost Bank

A new Frost Bank branch in Pflugerville’s Cornerstone at Kelly Lane opened May 19.

This branch is part of a broader expansion program to double Frost’s Austin-region locations and is Frost’s 200th location. It is also the 24th location in the Austin region.Round Rock Fencing Club


The Round Rock Fencing Club opened a new location in Pflugerville, offering classes for beginners through advanced students, ages 7 and up.

The training facility is owned by partners and certified coaches Alan Uthoff and Peter Kaskan.Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen

Following a change of ownership and management, Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen in Pflugerville’s Stone Hill Town Center had a grand reopening.

In March, Kevin Noe took over as the local franchise owner. The restaurant reopened in April with the new team.

The Pflugerville art gallery had a grand opening June 7. Rachel and Joey Silva own the gallery, which displays local artists’ visual work.Closed

Pflugerville Driving School

With an office in Round Rock and road test facility located in Pflugerville, the driving school has closed "without properly notifying students and parents," according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation news release.

Students who have paid for courses but were unable to complete them can contact TDLR to obtain a refund, according to the release.Renovation


Way of Life Church

The Way of Life Church in Pflugerville began construction to build a new sanctuary May 18. This renovation will double the size of worship gatherings, as well as allow the church to repurpose the existing building for classrooms.In the news

East Pecan Cigars

East Pecan Cigars plans to move from its current space at 105 E. Pecan St. to a larger building at 701 W. Pecan St. in Pflugerville. The 3,200-square-foot space will also allow for an indoor lounge, following City Council's approval of a specific use permit at its April 22 meeting.
