Kitchen Tune-Up
A local Kitchen Tune-Up franchise, a home renovation business serving the Round Rock, Cedar Park and Leander areas, will have its grand opening April 1. Franchisees Dhara and Sid Sanghavi operate the local franchise, as well as Bath Tune-Up, which operates in the same locations. Services include cabinet restoration, refacing, repainting, door replacement, custom cabinetry and full kitchen remodels. The company also offers free in-home consultations.

A Chicken Salad Chick is coming to Pflugerville's Stonehill Town Center. The restaurant sells a variety of southern-inspired meals, including chicken salad sandwiches, soups and salads. Meals are made from scratch daily. Commercial real estate firm NewQuest leased the 2,584-square-foot space behind the recently opened Gen Korean BBQ. An opening date hasn't been announced, although a permit to finish the out the building interior was issued by the city in December 2024.

Dairy Queen
The Pflugerville Dairy Queen is now permanently closed, according to a sign posted on its door front. The location is one of 24 in central Texas that is listed on an auction site to sell the store's contents to liquidate assets.

Springhill Restaurant
The restaurant is celebrating its 40-year anniversary serving the residents of Pflugerville. The seafood diner, locally owned by resident Carroll Humphrey, has a menu sporting shrimp and catfish dinner platters, dessert offerings like peach cobbler, as well as burgers and sandwiches. Springhill also has a daily lunch buffet.

Mattress Gallery Direct
A new mattress store will move into the Cornerstone at Kelly Lane development, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Registration filing. The project is slated to start in March and wrap up over the summer. Mattress Gallery Direct also has a location in Georgetown.

A liquor store is planned for the Shoppes at Wells Branch, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration. The project began earlier this month and has a completion date in December.
