Austin Humane Society, a nonprofit that offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services at 124 W. Anderson Lane, Austin, will celebrate its 70th anniversary Nov. 10. The nonprofit has been serving the community since 1952 as a no-kill shelter.

“So much has changed over the past 70 years, but our mission to serve Austin’s most vulnerable animals and the people who love them has not,” said Katie Kennedy, director of communications at Austin Humane Society.
