The store will carry clothing, furniture, sporting goods, decor, appliances, books and toys, and other household items.
While Hope Family Thrift Store is open to the general public, disaster survivors—including those who have recently had their homes destroyed by floods or fires—are able to shop for free. Proceeds from Hope Family Thrift Store help to financially support the work of Austin Disaster Relief Network.
The Austin Disaster Relief Network is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers from about 200 Austin-area churches.
