Salvation Army Family Store and Donation Center in Northwest Austin reopens to public

The Salvation Army Austin announced it is reopening its Family Store and Donation Center, located at 13530 N. US 183, Austin, on May 4.

In a May 1 news release, the nonprofit charitable organization said it is taking precautions to clean and sanitize all surfaces regularly and screen employees for coronavirus symptoms prior to all shifts. The Salvation Army will continue to accept donations at its Family Store locations across Austin, according to the news release.


Three other Salvation Army Family Store locations will remain open in Austin and Round Rock, including the North Austin location at 8801 Research Blvd., Austin.
