North by Northwest Brewing Co., located at 10010 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., Austin, is closing its doors permanently after 20 years of business.
The brewpub, one of Austin’s earliest entrants into the craft beer scene, will now shift to selling equipment and the rest of its beer, according to a post on North by Northwest’s Facebook page.
According to the post, the brewpub is selling kegs of its beer to customers, and the orders will be available for pickup April 23.
On April 22, North by Northwest will hold an auction on its equipment. Items for sale include tables, cookware, freezers, bar equipment, beer mugs and steins, televisions and more. Only cash payments will be accepted. According to the brewpub, sales will be open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and will last until April 25. www.nxnwbrew.com
