Additionally, six out of 10 babies in Central Texas are born at a St. David’s HealthCare facility, with a majority being delivered at St. David’s Women’s Center.
According to the system, the center delivered more than 10,000 babies in 2024 and is expected to exceed that number in 2025.
What they're saying
Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Barclay said the milestone reflects the trust between the community and St. David’s Women’s Center, as well as a celebration of the comprehensive care the center provides.
“Every new life welcomed at our hospital is a testament to our team’s expertise and our commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care,” Barclay said. “This achievement was only possible because of the extraordinary dedication, skill and heart our physicians and staff bring every single day. Their resilience, teamwork and genuine compassion not only made this milestone possible—they make our hospital a place where families feel supported, safe and cared for from start to finish. We are endlessly proud of the way they show up for our patients, each other and this community.”
