Girls in STEM Conference
Girls in fourth-eighth grade can learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers at the annual Girlstart event, featuring hands-on workshops led by women in STEM.

The nonprofit will host a clinic where all sections and skill levels can learn about the Rhythmic Force’s style, technique and fundamentals. Percussionists will have the opportunity to network, watch the nonprofit’s 2025 send-off show for free and play a portion of the nonprofit’s 2025 show “What Goes Around.”

Children ages 5-17 can practice their entrepreneurial skills at the market designed to help them practice how to sell products at their own tent while surrounded by peers selling their own items.

Families can spend the holiday participating in one of the event’s four egg hunts, Easter activities and games, or checking out some community resource vendors. Egg hunts are organized by age with one hunt for ages 1-4, two hunts for ages 5-8 and the final hunt for ages 9 and up.

Austin Symphonic Band will present its third concert of the season with music such as Halcyon Hearts by Katahj Copley and Variations on a Theme of Robert Schumann by Robert Jager. Winner of ASB’s Young Composers’ Contest Ryan Fillinger will be featured with the world premiere of Sinfonietta.
