Boulder, Colorado-based restaurant Modern Market entered the Northwest Austin area in summer 2016 with a location near the Arboretum at 9829 Great Hills Trail, Ste. 110, Austin. The farm-to-table company also announced expansion plans to bring additional locations to Westlake and Central Austin later in 2017.
The latest
Modern Market’s Westlake location, at 3201 Bee Caves Road, Ste. 144, Austin, will likely be the first new addition. The company has set March 13 as an expected opening date.
What’s next
The other new location is set to open July 24 inside Frost Tower at 401 Congress Ave., Austin. Modern Market offers a seasonal menu of fresh salads, toasted sandwiches, brick-oven pizzas, handmade soups, tofu dishes and meat plates. The company has close to 30 locations now open or under development in the U.S.
