The wait for the second area location of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is almost over as the newest restaurant opens Dec. 6 in Northwest Austin.
Pappadeaux will be open in its first week Tue.-Thu. from 5-10 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. from 5-11 p.m. An employee said the restaurant initially will only be open for dinner until early 2017 when it plans to have the restaurant fully staffed and be open for lunch.
Besides having an indoor bar, the newest Pappadeaux will have an outdoor patio and bar and offer live music on select days, the employee confirmed.
An
employee previously told Community Impact Newspaper the Cajun seafood restaurant will serve fresh seafood and other scratch-made soups, salads and entrees. The company also prioritizes fresh-caught seafood as well as a seasonal menu.
Construction began in May 2015 on the new restaurant located at 11617 Research Blvd., Austin, just south of Duval Road on the northbound US 183 frontage road. The restaurant was initially slated to open earlier this fall.
The Houston-based chain also has a location at 6303 N. I-35, Austin. For more information, visit www.pappadeaux.com.
