Austin-based OHT Partners will begin construction on a 315-unit multifamily development called Lenox Grand in January, according to project officials.

Located on 16.4 acres at 13505 Burnet Road, Austin, the luxury community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments along with eight townhomes, according to a Jan. 6 release. Shared amenities include a fitness center, two resort-style pools, a pickleball court, a dog park and a walking trail.

In the release, officials with OHT Partners—which was previously known as Oden Hughes—said the new development will boast short commutes to many major employers, including Apple, Amazon, Facebook, General Motors, 3M, National Instruments, Visa Cisco and Samsung Semiconductor.

The Lenox Grand is also a five-minute drive from The Domain and is close to the recently announced Uptown ATX mixed-use development as well as Austin FC’s Q2 Stadium, the release said.

“The number of high-paying jobs in this area has increased dramatically in the last few years and will continue to do so as the Domain grows, Apple opens its new campus and Uptown ATX attracts more major employers to this area,” OHT Vice President of Development Ben Browder said in the release. “North Austin needs more housing opportunities for people who want to live near their jobs and the growing number of popular retail and restaurant amenities nearby. Lenox Grand will help meet this need in a highly visible and easily accessible location.”

Existing buildings on the project’s site will be demolished, according to an OHT Partners official. Lenox Grand is scheduled to open in 2023.
