3. Austin Bookstore Crawl
The self-directed bookstore crawl is hosted on Independent Bookstore Day. Participants can visit three or more stores and complete a task at each one to be entered in a drawing for gift cards, books and other swag.

4. Eeyore’s Birthday Party
The 54th annual festival celebrates the birthday of Eeyore from the Winnie-the-Pooh books and acts as a fundraiser benefiting local nonprofit groups. Activities include live acoustic music, drum circles, games and maypoles. Costumes are encouraged, and there are contests offering prizes.
