Golf entertainment company PopStroke has announced it will be taking over The Pitch with openings to the public beginning this fall.

What to know

In previous Community Impact reporting, the new experience was stated to open this spring, however an updated news release states the business will officially launch in September.

The newly renovated space will feature a rebranded dining experience with BarTenders Eatery, upgraded event spaces, an esports gaming area, a full-service ice cream parlor and recreational amenities such as pickleball courts and sand volleyball courts.

Two 18-hole mini golf courses have also been added to the experience. Activities will be available at daily rates and individuals with memberships at PopStroke will have access to all sports and game amenities.

Community members and local businesses will still have the opportunity to rent spaces for events and retreats.

What else?

Founder and CEO of PopStroke Greg Bartoli said the renovations and expansion are not a goodbye to The Pitch, they are the next chapter.

“We’re excited to carry forward what makes this place special and add the PopStroke energy to make it even better, building on The Pitch’s foundation to create one of Austin’s best sports and social hubs,” Bartoli said.
