Domain Northside postponed its kick-off of a three-part music series called Northside Amplified.
Originally, Domain Northside had planned to host live music this Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The event has been rescheduled, however, because of safety concerns for inclement weather, flooding and road closures, according to a news release.
Now Northwest Austin residents will enjoy live music on
Sept. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. on the Northside Lawn. The event starts with an electronic music set by DJ 2dQ followed by the Matt Wilson Band, a group that performs classic soul, rock 'n' roll, rhythm and blues, and funk music.
Domain Northside has partnered with Engel & Völkers Finest Real Estate Worldwide and Mix 94.7 to bring the music series to the lawn.
“As stakeholders in Domain Northside, Engel & Völkers is honored to help bring programming of this caliber to area residents,” Michele Turnquist, owner and CEO of the Austin Engel & Völkers franchise, said in a news release. “Lifestyle benefits, like Northside Amplified, have quickly created a dynamic community that draws visitors and residents from throughout Austin metro, and we’re excited to be a part of this evolving area.”
The series continues on Saturday, Sept. 30, with the Night Owls, which will also coincide with the one-year anniversary of Domain Northside. The Night Owls perform soul and R&B music.
The final part of the series takes place on Saturday, Oct. 28, with modern troubadour Charlie Mars.
Each event is free and open to the public. For more information, check Northside Amplified’s
event page.
