A chicken eatery with more than a dozen fresh, homemade dipping sauces will open this fall in Northwest Austin on Research Boulevard.

From sweet to savory, carnivorous to vegan, Happy Chicks' menu features a variety of dishes, including scratch-made sides such as white cheddar mac and cheese, fries, roasted creamed corn and more.

The owners describe the atmosphere at Happy Chicks as “a little country and a little rock and roll,” and they said they plan to maintain that with the newest Austin location. This marks the third location in the area, with the other two on East Sixth Street and Burnet Road.
