Spec's Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods opened its newest Austin location on Oct. 18.

This is the Houston-based brand's 16th Austin location and the first downtown. The building was previously a Goodwill. The family-owned business opened in 1962 and now has more than 100 stores throughout the state.

A grand opening took place Nov. 23 with special deals on in-store products.
