Central Market

The grocer celebrated its 30th anniversary in September, marking the milestone by breaking the Guinness World Record for largest charcuterie board to be created and consumed. The 12- by 24-foot charcuterie board featured 1,000 pounds of artisanal meats and cheeses, accompanied by crackers, fruits, nuts and more. The event took place at the very first Central Market location in Austin on North Lamar, which opened in 1994.Art Realm Tattoo

The tattoo studio and fine art gallery is celebrating 10 years in business this November. The studio is owned by Andrew Matela and Nick Baxter, who are artists that specialize in realism and various styles of illustrative tattooing. The studio also has several regular rotating guest artists. Art Realm is now offering piercing services from Tara Baxter for ages five and older.
