Spec's Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods will open a store in North Austin this fall.

This will be the Texas-based store's 16th Austin area location. The store is slated to open as early as September, according to Spec's representatives, and is replacing what was previously Goodwill.

The family-owned business opened in Houston in 1962 and now has more than 100 stores throughout the state. Spec’s first came to Austin in 2007 offering alcohol, cigars, gifts and more.
