Construction begins on TxDOT’s MoPac Intersections project


Construction recently began on an interchange consisting of a grade separation at both Slaughter Lane and La Crosse Avenue. The Texas Department of Transportation will also construct a diverging diamond intersection at Slaughter and La Crosse. An underpass will also be constructed allowing MoPac to go under Slaughter and La Crosse.

Timeline: January 2018-early 2021

    From the TxDot website: “At Slaughter Lane, the approved design is a Diverging Diamond Intersection, or DDI. At La Crosse Avenue, the project will build a conventional intersection, similar to most intersections in the area.”
