As of 9 a.m. 17,700 voters have already cast a ballot today in Travis County since polls opened at 7 a.m., according to the Travis County Clerk's Office, which will be updating these numbers throughout the day. In addition, the clerk's office tweeted a list of popular vote centers where the line may be longer and alternate places that are nearby with shorter lines:In addition to the votes cast today, 372,188 people cast a vote during Texas' early voting period from Oct. 24-Nov. 4, with the first day and the last day of early voting exceeding 40,000 voters. In Williamson County, 163,742 people participated in early voting—that's 53.43 percent of registered voters, according to the Williamson County Clerk's Office. As of 8:30 a.m. today, 8,132 people cast a vote in Williamson County:As of 9:00 am this morning, 17,700 voters have cast a ballot.
