The city of Frisco has announced two roadway closures in the past week.

A portion of Dallas Parkway will be closed for a short time and the Lebanon Road entrance to 4th Army Drive will be closed for several months.

City officials are urging motorists to use caution when driving in the two areas.

Dallas Parkway

Northbound and southbound Dallas Parkway between Stonebrook Parkway and Cotton Gin Road will be closed to through traffic beginning at 9 a.m. on Nov. 30 and will remain closed through Dec. 5 while repairs are made to the railroad crossings.

All Dallas North Tollway entrance and exit ramps will remain open and u-turn lanes will still be accessible on either side of the railroad, but Dallas Parkway will be closed.

Motorists who normally use northbound or southbound Dallas Parkway as a thoroughfare will be directed to take Stonebrook Parkway, Legacy Drive and Cotton Gin Road as alternate routes.

Detour signs will be posted.

4th Army Drive

4th Army Drive at Lebanon Road is closed and will remain closed for the next five months while a new road alignment is under construction, according to city officials.

Those driving to B.F. Phillips Community Park and the Ruff Range Dog Park will need to enter 4th Army Drive south of Timber Ridge. Only park traffic is allowed to travel that section of road.

Only official vehicles can enter 4th Army Drive from Lebanon Road—4th Army is closed to the public from the dog park south to Lebanon.

City officials suggest drivers who generally use 4th Army Drive as a thoroughfare should use Teel Parkway as an alternate route. Detour signs are posted.
