On October 15, representatives from Williamson County and the Texas Department of Transportation will facilitate a community forum to discuss safety and mobility improvements to RM 620 from Cornerwood Drive to Deep Wood Drive. Officials will gather public input on proposed renovations to the 2.74 mile stretch of road, including road widening, turn lanes, retaining walls and sidewalks, according to a county statement. Construction is expected to begin in 2016. The forum will be an open house format and participants will be able to view project maps, exhibits and handouts, according to the county. The planning documents are also available at the Williamson County Road and Bridge Office located at 3151 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgeotwon and at the TxDOT Georgetown Area Engineer’s Office located at 2727 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown. Exhibits are available online at www.620.roadbond.org. The Open House will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Allen R. Baca Center located at 301 W. Bagdad Ave., Bldg. 2, Round Rock, Texas.
