On Aug. 15, chambers of commerce from San Marcos, Kyle, Buda and Canyon Lake joined with the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing to celebrate the 70th anniversary of WWII's conclusion. The event featured displays of the CAF CenTex Wing's collection of WWII-era planes as well as museum tours, food and a ceremony honoring veterans.
