However, the artist known for hits such as "White Lies" was replaced by Kaleo for the Aug. 5 show after he had to cancel. “Regrettably there was a miscommunication in terms of Max’s schedule and commitments," Frost's management said in an emailed statement. "He is very disappointed that he is unable to play Blues on the Green this year but looks forward to participating in other KGSR events soon." This year is radio station 93.3 KGSR's 25th anniversary of hosting Blues on the Green. Frost cancelled his Aug. 5 appearance in mid- to late-June, according to a KGSR spokesperson. The next show Frost has scheduled is at Float Fest in San Marcos on Aug. 29. His EP "Intoxication" will be released Sept. 18.
