Bike Hutto adopted Creekside Park as a clean-up site in January and has held three beautification events there to promote community engagement and the commitment to “keep Hutto beautiful,” according to a Bike Hutto statement. “We were very pleased to receive Creekside Park as our ‘spot’ in the program,” Bike Hutto Founder Jessica Romigh said in a statement. “So many of us ride the Cottonwood Creek Trail that passes through the park. This was a way for us to help make the area even more beautiful and make an impact in the community.” Following the ribbon cutting there will be an opportunity for volunteers to pick up litter in the park then bike downtown for lunch. The Bike Hutto ribbon cutting will begin at 9 a.m. at Creekside Park, located at 305 Orchard Way in Hutto. For more information, email [email protected] or call 512-906-9453.
