1. Flint Rock Road improvement project
This project will improve 2.2 miles of road between RR 620 and Serene Hills Drive in Lakeway and address safety issues, including widening lanes, improving shoulders, and changes in turns and grades.
Timeline: July 1, 2015-late fall 2016

2. Capital of Texas Hwy. resurfacing
A 4-mile stretch of North Capital of Texas Hwy. from the Colorado River to
0.25 miles south of Wild Basin Road will be resurfaced.
Timeline: project to be bid in January 2017
Cost: $1.69 million

3. RR 620 intersection improvements
TxDOT plans for more than 8.5 miles of intersection improvements along RR 620 from Hwy. 71 to the Mansfield Dam. The project is designed to increase traffic efficiency and reduce travel wait times.

4. Loop 360 intersections
Intersection improvements will be made from just north of Walsh Tarlton Lane on Loop 360 to just south of MoPac. The improvements include adding auxiliary lanes on Loop 360 to improve flow through the intersections of Walsh Tarlton, the Barton Creek Square Mall entrance and MoPac. The two-year project also includes revising a future West Gate Boulevard intersection, adding a left-turn lane on the northbound frontage road of MoPac at Loop 360, replacing traffic signals and adjusting signal timing to improve efficiency.

5. RR 620 improvements in Lakeway and Bee Cave
TxDOT will add a southbound lane on RR 620 from Lohmans Crossing Road to Spillman Ranch Loop as well as add left- and right-turn lanes onto Falconhead and Ladera boulevards from RR 620.
Timeline: bidding planned for August 2015, future dates uncertain

6. MoPac bicycle/pedestrian bridge
TxDOT is building a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge on MoPac over Loop 360 from Tuscan Terrace to Barton Creek. The project was slated to begin in December but was delayed.

Cost: $2.99 million

7. MoPac toll lanes
Upon completion the highway will have one new lane in each direction from Parmer Lane to Cesar Chavez Street that will be tolled. Current construction includes bridge widening, building sound walls, installing conduit and cables to support the toll-collection and intelligent transportation systems, and completing the relocation of temporary ramps.
Timeline: late 2013-fall 2015

8. Bicycle/pedestrian bridge over Barton Creek Greenbelt
Partnering with the city of Austin, TxDOT is constructing a bicycle and pedestrian bridge with a minimum 12-foot-wide shared-use path along northbound MoPac lanes over the Barton Creek Greenbelt from one frontage road turnaround to the other near MoPac’s intersections with Southwest Parkway and Loop 360. Work was delayed until December 2014 because of drilling issues.
Timeline: February 2014-February 2016
