With the Texas heat rising every day, the brewers at Houston-based Karbach Brewing Co. have released the company’s newest seasonal ale for the summer, Staycation. The beer is one of the most recent craft brews to come to the taps at Lucky’s Pub in Cypress.

The Karbach team describes the drink as a highly refreshing beer with a blend of barley and wheat that ends on a big citrusy note. Staycation has proven popular with customers at Lucky’s, who have been tapping kegs and exhausting the bar’s supply of the canned session ale.

Lucky’s specializes in beer, but some cocktails have been worked into the menu, including a house bloody Mary. The bar also features an extensive food menu, which includes burgers, pizza and sandwiches. Daily happy hour specials offer discounts on beer, well drinks and shots featuring Texas-based products.
