Sienna South’s first 500 home lots are now available to homebuyers as Johnson Development announced May 7 the opening of Village of Sawmill Lake.

The Village of Sawmill Lake is the first village being constructed in Sienna South. Construction of the first 500 home slots in Village of Sawmill Lake also includes 45 homes within a gated community, according to Sienna Plantation officials. Johnson Development is inviting Sienna Plantation residents and new homebuyers May 15-17 to tour 12 new model homes that will be constructed in the new neighborhood. The event also features on-site entertainment from balloon artists, face painters and an appearance from HGTV “Design Star” participant Torie Halbert. Alvin San Miguel, general manager for Sienna Plantation, said those attending the model home tour will get a sneak peek at the amenities and landscapes of the new homes and neighborhood. “This is the place to be for home designs,” San Miguel said. “Prospective home buyers will be able to see a variety of home designs all in one convenient location in one of Houston’s most vibrant communities.” As new homes are constructed in Village of Sawmill Lake, a new community center is expected to be constructed in 2016 as well as a new Fort Bend ISD elementary school and middle school by 2017, according to Sienna Plantation officials.
