The Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce held its Outstanding Achievement Awards luncheon Feb. 18 at the Lakeway Resort and Spa to honor several businesses and chamber members. The luncheon included a presentation from professional speaker Don Hobbs, the executive vice president of MAPS Business Coaching. The award winners were:
- Rising Star: Lake Travis ISD FFA program
- Shining Star: Lakeway Police Foundation
- Unsung Hero of the Year: Alan Tye
- Volunteer of the Year: Dawn Langerock
- Ambassador of the Year: Rene Campos
- Young Business of the Year: College Inroads
- Citizen of the Year: Jo Karr Tedder
- Business of the Year: Cafe Blue
