City officials approved paying Quorum Architects $37,300 on Jan. 13 to develop a plan for a new animal shelter proposed to go next to Lake Pflugerville, according to city documents.
The plans are expected to be complete within five months. The purpose of the plans is to give City Council enough data to consider a bond proposal, City Council documents state.
On Dec. 9 the City Council directed city staff to move forward with fixes to the city's existing animal shelter.
