Hotel Granduca Austin, located at the northwest corner of Bee Caves Road and Capital of Texas Hwy., was accepted as a member of The Leading Hotels of The World organization Nov. 13, according to a news release.

The organization includes hotels and resorts in more than 80 countries, including Hotel Granduca Houston.

Hotel Granduca Austin is based on Houston developer Giorgio Borlenghi's vision of an Old World private Italian village and will have a restaurant, Ristorante Visconti, which highlights Northern Italian cuisine.

The 194-room Tuscan-style hotel is scheduled to open in fall 2015 and is the only hotel in Austin to be accepted into the organization, according to the release.
