A shopping center is coming to Greenlawn Boulevard south of SH 45 N and across the street from an H-E-B in Round Rock. It is tentatively scheduled to break ground in January or February 2015.

The center does not yet have any tenants. Evan Dyer, a broker at Hunington Properties, the developer, said the site would feature a mix of some quick-service food, retail and service industry shops such as a nail salon or dry cleaner.

Wade Todd, real estate development consultant, said the area is growing.

"It seemed a suitable location with lots of retail synergy," he said. "There are lots more rooftops coming in from the south."

The land the development sits on was brought into the city limits at the developer's request to gain access to utilities.
