According to unofficial results, incumbent State Rep. Tony Dale, R-Cedar Park, has won the Texas House of Representatives District 136 seat with 54.19 percent, or 20,829 votes.
Democratic candidate John H. Bucy III earned 41.11 percent, or 15,800 votes and libertarian candidate Justin Billiot garnered 4.70 percent, or 1,808 votes.
Results are unofficial until canvassed.
"It's a great honor to be re-elected to the Texas House [of Representatives]," Dale said. "I appreciate the trust of the voters of Williamson County."

State Rep. Tony Dale, R-Cedar Park, is likely to win the race for Texas House of Representatives District 136 with 55.39 percent, or 16,926 votes, according to unofficial results posted at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 5.
Democratic candidate John H. Bucy III has 40.24 percent, or 12,295 votes, and libertarian candidate Justin Billiot has 4.37 percent, or 1,335 votes.
State Rep. Tony Dale, R-Cedar Park, has served District 136 since 2012. Dale is the president and owner of oil and energy consulting firm Spancil Hill Consulting. He formerly served on Cedar Park City Council and the Cedar Park Planning and Zoning Commission.
Small-business owner
John H. Bucy III, born in Austin, began working at the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic League in 2007, an organized extracurricular league that is available to more than 75,000 public schoolchildren. Bucy is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas, where he studied history.
District 136 is one of 150 single-member districts in the lower house of the Texas Legislature. Members serve two-year terms with no term limits. District 136 comprises Williamson county, with cities including Cedar Park, Northwest Austin and Round Rock.
The Texas House and Texas Senate convene the second Tuesday in January during odd-numbered years. A regular session lasts 140 days, though the governor can call additional 30-day special sessions.
