Pflugerville has made Money Magazine's list of best small cities to live in for the second year in a row. This year Pflugerville climbed 23 spots in the rankings to number 20.

The magazine noted Pflugerville's growth, home price, school system and activities available at Lake Pflugerville as high points. The magazine's spread also features an image of Hawaiian Falls Water and Adventure Park on its website.

"For [two] consecutive years Pflugerville has placed in the top 50 cities in America," Pflugerville Mayor Jeff Coleman said in a statement. "Our leap in the rankings is no surprise to anyone living in Pflugerville because they know this is a great place to live."

Money Magazine surveyed 781 cities with populations between 50,000 and 300,000. The magazine used data from Onboard Informatics to study each city's schools, housing market, economics and available healthcare, among other measures. The magazine also sent reporters to observe the top 35 cities, according to the magazine.

Pflugerville was ranked just after Cary, North Carolina and just before Brookline Massachusetts. The magazine ranked McKinney, Texas, which is located near Dallas, number one.
