A complete northbound lane closure of FM 2499 is coming July 30, weather permitting.

The planned closure will run from 9 p.m. July 30 to 6 a.m. July 31 and be in the vicinity of Denton Creek north of Grapevine Mills Mall on the north end of the FM 2499 project.

The closure will allow construction crews to set horizontal bridge beams on the new bridge over Denton Creek.

NorthGate Constructors, the contractors who built the DFW Connector Project and are overseeing expansion and development of the follow-up FM 2499 roadwork, released the closure information July 29.
