Pflugerville's Hawaiian Falls Water and Adventure Park opened to the public June 9. The facility's dry adventure park is projected to open the first week of July. The park's opening was pushed back several times because of weather-related construction delays, and heavy rain forced the park's opening ceremonies inside.

The $23.5 million park was financed in part with a loan from the city of Pflugerville.
